The Rev. Minamisawa Donin Zenji, abbot of one of the two largest Soto Zen temples in Japan, leaves his post for health reasons. He is entrusting the role of Kaishi (master of precepts) to his disciple Taiun Rôshi, abbot of Kanshoji.
Over the course of these five days, you will receive teachings from authentic masters from Japan, the United States and Europe. The ceremonies will be supervised by Chūkō Kumagai Rōshi, the current abbot of Chūōji Temple in Sapporo.
