Nature is continuously teaching but we don’t always hear its teaching. The song of the cuckoo reminds us to return urgently to our true nature, to our true home.

We are the children of ultimate reality, the children of the universe. Of course, we often wander off in dreams, in mental fabrications. More and more, we tend to give a lot of importance to our calculations, to algorithms, to virtual life. All the more reason to hear the song of the cuckoo, to return to reality. Let us leave the bubble of mental activity to return to reality. Let us go, return to reality as it is, beyond all our comments, before the words arise. Let us return to this part of ourselves that has existed from eternity, what we really are. Let us return to the original mind, to our true nature, as it is.

This is the most essential thing. To return to what is real, that is to bring back our mind, here and now, to all the points of the body. Let us become absorbed in reality, unify with reality, letting everything that appears to the consciousness come and go, without worrying about it. This practice is the root practice of our lives. If the root is strong, the trunk, the branches, the leaves, the flowers are strong.

The cuckoo reminds us of the urgency to go back to our true home. Let us return beyond thought.
