led by Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure

You are looking for a spiritual path, for a more meaningful life… You want to find your way in a society whose values are not always in line with yours…
Kanshoji monastery is offering a Soto Zen Buddhism Discovery Weekend.
During this weekend, a kind welcome and specific guidance will be provided.

Participants will discover the Soto Zen form of Buddhism:

– zazen (meditation)
– rituals
– manual work
– time for sharing and connecting
Teachings on Buddhist practice and philosophy will be given by Zen master Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure.

This spiritual retreat is open to all, but it is specifically intended for those who are not yet familiar with Zen.

First retreat (September 2021)

  • Arrival : Friday September 24th between 3 & 6.00pm.
Departure : September 26th after lunch.
Due to the sanitary situation, it is no longer possible to stay in a dormitory. Everyone is accommodated in a single room, which reduces our accommodation capacity and therefore our financial resources. An average single rate is offered. Those with a small budget can ask for a reduction. Those with sufficient means can give more.

We apologize we cannot accept your payment by credit card.
