June Retreat

Arrival : Friday June 6th between 3 & 6pm.
Departure : Monday June 9th after lunch.

During this retreat, cut off from our daily environment, we forget our usual preoccupations and devote ourselves to the spiritual practice: to return to a deeply peaceful, available, open mind.

Zazen is the root practice that continues in all activities of daily life. Teachings are given during meditation, encounters or question and answer sessions.

During this retreat, the General Assembly of the members of the Kanshoji Zen Association will take place.

Specific guidance is provided for new practitioners.



 

June retreat 2025

    PAYMENT:
      For newcomers,
    your reservation will be confirmed on receipt of a €50 deposit

    2) or by cheque payable to AZK
    The balance must be paid on arrival in cash or by cheque.
      For previous visitors,
    payment for your stay is made on the day of arrival, in cash or by cheque.

    Annual membership to the AZK (Association Zen Kanshoji)
    - 15€ the first year,
    - 40€ the following years.
    This membership is necessary to stay at the monastery.
  • Those on a tight budget can apply for a reduction based on their income. Those who can are invited to make a donation.

  • During the retreat it is recommended to remain silent.
