Kanshoji is a Buddhist monastery of the Soto Zen lineage. It is located in Dordogne, in the heart of Périgord-Limousin National Park. The Head of the monastery, Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure, was a disciple of Master Taisen Deshimaru and received certification from Minamizawa Roshi, abbot of Eiheiji, the temple founded by Dogen.
